Since I’m taking the month of August to take a much needed break to think big thoughts, inevitably fail at making a dent in my TBR because I add books to the stacks faster than I can possibly read them, do upgrades, and plan the fall store happenings, we won’t be accepting new curbside pickup orders from August 1st to September 3rd.
We’ll still be around to do curbsides for existing orders, so if you want to schedule a pickup, just text us at (412) 585-2651.
To take a little bit of the sting out of the shipping cost, we’ll be having a “15% Off of Most Books on the Site” sale from yesterday to September 3rd.
We’ll still be doing special orders.
Our Bookstore Romance Day celebration will be online-only again this year.
My assumption that we’d be able to reopen to walk-in shopping in the fall is starting to look like wishful thinking. Still not changing my mind about keeping it curbside and ship-to-home only until our whole household is vaccinated, though.
Fair warning: When we do reopen to walk-ins, we’ll have a mask policy in effect until at least Spring 2022.¹
