The Tiny Bookstore’s 2020 Reading Challenge

Doing a reading challenge is a great way to keep track of your reading goals.  For 2020, The Tiny Bookstore is launching its first reading challenge:

Read a Book You Love in 2020

Seems pretty easy and straightforward, doesn’t it?  While the goal of some reading challenges is to spend more time reading or to read more books, the goal of our reading challenge is to have fun. And the good news is that, because it’s a leap year, everyone will have one extra day to read a book they love!

We believe that reading is a skill and something that can be fun and relaxing.  We want our friends and customers to find the joy of reading.

Reading Challenge Rules:

#1: If you don't like the book, stop reading it.

The point of this challenge is to discover the joy of reading.  Which means that we encourage you to quit on books to complete this challenge.

#2: Genre doesn't matter.

Romance, YA, picture books, literary fiction, graphic novels.  As long as it is a book, it counts.

#3: Page count doesn't matter.

Seriously.  As long as it’s a book, it counts.

#4: We also don't care if you re-read a book.

The whole point of the challenge is to read a book that you love. You can use this as a chance to find a new book that you love or to read an old favorite.

#5: Have fun.

The point we’re trying to make here is that reading is a form of entertainment. A lot of the reading that we have to do in life is boring.  Like salad. But a good book can be like dessert.
