One of the questions we’ve been getting pretty regularly lately is whether we’re open for in-person shopping yet. We aren’t and we won’t be until our household is completely vaccinated.
How did I come to this decision?
- We still have online shopping with curbside pickup and ship-to-home.
- We also know that, for people with more time-sensitive reading needs…well, they call Pittsburgh Littsburgh for a reason.
- The store really is tiny and the ventilation system in our suite doesn’t pull fresh air in from outside the building.
When considering all of that, the decision to stay closed to in-person shopping until our family is fully vaccinated was an easy one.
Other important information
- To protect those who can’t be vaccinated, we’re still wearing masks and distancing at curbside pickup.
- We’ll be ship-to-home only for the month of August. I’m operating under the assumption that we’ll be set to re-open for in-store shopping in the fall and we’re taking the month of August to 1.) rest and 2.) get the store ready for the re-opening.
